Replacing Doesn’t Help. MacBook Pro Has A Battery Problem

Apple has acknowledged the problems and is preparing to announce a solution to the question, probably at the software level.

The problem turned out to be unpleasant:

  • The laptop stops charging abruptly.
  • The battery level drops to 1%.
  • The user receives a notification about the need for repair.

You can still use your laptop, but you must keep it plugged in at all times.
In China, many users have contacted the service with this problem. There were battery replacements, but they did not help everyone. According to users, a wide variety of MacBook Pros are turning into stationary computers, from OS from Mojave to BigSur.

That is, both devices based on Intel CPUs and their own SoC M1 are subject to problems. Most of the cases happened between December last year and the present time. Apple is investigating the reasons, but engineers are leaning towards their software nature.

Previously, HB wrote that Apple is planning a significant redesign of the MacBook Pro for the third quarter of 2021. , in which the device will lose the Touch Bar.

In his report, TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo calls this the first significant design change for the MacBook Pro since the current generation launched in 2016.

Perhaps most notably, Kuo believes the new Pro laptops will reverse some of Apple’s controversial changes to the current generation. For example, the OLED touch panel is said to be wholly replaced by physical function keys.

Kuo also says there will be a broader range of ports, which will reduce the need for dongles, but does not elaborate on what it is about. Again, the magnetic MagSafe charging connector should return as well.
